A PTFE tube, short for Polytetrafluoroethylene, is a semi-transparent, high-performance tubing made from a polymer invented by DuPont. It is known for its exceptional chemical inertness, low friction, high heat resistance, excellent electrical insulation, and biocompatibility, making it suitable for a wide array of applications from chemical and medical uses to 3D printing and electrical wiring.  

PTFE tubes, also known as Teflon tubing, are made from a synthetic fluoropolymer that offers exceptional chemical resistance, a wide temperature range (-270°C to 260°C), a non-stick, low-friction surface, and excellent electrical insulation. These properties make PTFE tubes highly versatile for fluid transfer in harsh environments, high-temperature applications, electrical insulation, and mechanical uses across industries such as medical, chemical, automotive, and electronics.
